transmission

ok so i have a weird light grinding that sounds like a train starting out when i start driving plus when i get up to speed the tub of the jeep that sit just above the transmission gets extreamly hot any ideas

it only grands when i am in gear and the clutch is released. when it is in nutrel and clutch released it does not grind
