Transfer Case Skid Plate Recommendation?

I'm in the middle of a restoration project and am in need of a new transfer case skid plate. Short story... I made some stupid mistakes making one and now I'm throwing in the rag and looking to buy one.

What is everyone's personal preference? I see UCF advertising everywhere. People satisfied? If its a name brand product, where'd you buy yours?

$529!!!!! Ucf offers only steel and aluminum. I didn't realize gold held up well on the trail...

Ya that's a little steep!!! Got love Craigslist! Found that skid, the 3rd link and the rear skid all in great shape for $350. Then I bartered him down! Ya us I know I'm a cheap *** but why not ask, the worst he could have said was no!

For the record as well. I did see a few pics of a ucf and it looks good!! I feel that there a few areas not to compromise when it comes to wheeling. Protection is one of them. There are a ton of write ups on making your own skid as well,, if you have the supplies and skills. Ucf seems like good products though
