transfer case reinstall, rtv?
OK i know this has probably been posted somewhere but i am mid project and heading right back out to the shop.
When reinstalling a transfer case to the tranny, is there supposed to be an rtv seal there? it doesnt look like it had one from the factory but im not sure the studs hold it tight enough to make a seal? should a lay a silicone bead on the mating surface?

Just my
 but I did not use any RTV between the transfer case and transmission. Both ends already have seals and as you stated there wasn't any on before. |

on my AX5-NP231 I used no RTV, just the studs.
