transfer case problems
I just bought a new tranfer case for my 93 yj 4.0 l it was off a rolled over 1991 its a np231 and when ever its in ..4x4 and I go over a big pump it makes a clunking sound... any ideas how to fix it?

sounds more like a loose or worn out tranny mount. Also the torque arm bushings on the outrigger of the mount are supposed to be loose so a little clunk in certain situations is normal.

it might be a stretched chain causing it to slap the housing.
