From 2" to about 2.5" you don't need to worry about dropping the t-case. Once you get to around 3" you should consider it. More than 3" definitely drop it.

I saw a transfer case lowering kit on a site recently and now I can't find it. Instead of just washers, it used a metal rail and was red. Anyone remember seeing that somewhere? I checked my browser history and still couldn't find it.
