JohnO-
I didn't install my lunchbox locker; the PO did. It seems that the original posi unit would not stand up to the 33X14 Boggers and disintegrated to the point that chunks came out with the oil when the cover was removed. The locker was installed in his driveway in about 3 hours. No special tools were needed, just the normal Jeeper's tool accumulation, and a little time and patience. The original winch became a "decorative item" shortly after I bought the Jeep. On dis assembly, it was found that the motor had been removed by the PPO (Previous Previous Owner) and reinstalled with the drain on the side. DUH! There was a high water mark inside the electric motor! I ended up with another Ramsey from Performance Off Road Center for less money than the local retailer could buy it for. Shop around and you should be able to get a winch and a locker and still be close to budget. Good Luck!
