Most shops use torque stick to tighten wheels now a days.

Torque on steel rims will be 100 ft lbs. Torque on alloy rims will be 85 ft lbs. At least that is what the sam's club hand book states (former tire tech).
And yes, most shops due to liability will ask you to come back after about 50 miles for a "re-torque" if you have alloy rims. Steel ones do not need it.

100 foot pounds is the jeep standard. Some are less, but most are 100 ft lbs.

I wish the SAM's in my town used those specs. They just zipped mine on with an impact (no torque wrench) and seemed to break a stud every time I went to get my tires rotated and balanced. I got them to pay for the studs but I didn't want them to work on my jeep. Kind of paranoid about that. As far as torquing the lugs, follow those specs if you have a torque wrench handy. I just go by feel. Even if I use my dad's electric impact I still take a 4 way just to check.
