It was probably already half rotted and you never noticed...Factory poor design. collects water, mud and rots.. Reapair anyway you want to and reinstall the more mounts... Some just fab thier own from steel... If you use a factory set up again.. drill a hole for drainage..
BTW I have 2 mounts from my frame swap... $30 shipped just about 2 yrs old...clean up and weld...
