Tore my upper shock mounts off!

Today my right rear upper shock mount tore off.
I'm using the M.O.R.E. shock extensions.
Is there a better way to mount the rear shocks, or should I just have the tab repaired?
Are the extensions putting too much stress on the factory tabs?

It was probably already half rotted and you never noticed...Factory poor design. collects water, mud and rots.. Reapair anyway you want to and reinstall the more mounts... Some just fab thier own from steel... If you use a factory set up again.. drill a hole for drainage..

BTW I have 2 mounts from my frame swap... $30 shipped just about 2 yrs old...clean up and weld...
