good idea.. well i got a better deal than i thought on the top. $300 for the top with it also being newly sprayed with the Raptor liner. then $100 for the lift gate.

hey does anybody know how much to torque the bolts that hold together the transmission to the engine? cuz i have no idea which bolts are which. like what do i torque the top 2.. midd 2.. and bottom 2 at? what about the bolts that connect the starter and the engine?

I agree with the above. I have pulled the tranny in my Ram 2500 4 times and have never torqued them yet, just tightened them down tight.

alright thanks. its been 4 months since ive driven my jeep. and i finally got all the parts i needed to fix it. just need to tighten down the transmission and the T-Case and put a new u-joint in. and then ill have my baby back.

alright.. so everything is basically in. but i really dont wanna deal with changing the T-case and Transmission fluids. could i tow the jeep to a shop without hurting anything?

I've had mine listed for $300 on CL for quite some time with no offers. Am I doing it wrong?
What made it undrivable? Changing the transmission/transfer case isn't much harder than changing your oil.

slave went out. and school interfered on the days i wanted to work on it. also rain played a part. im gonna change the fluids myself. thought it was hard.. but i see its really easy. plus the skid is off so it will be easier. getting the oils tomorrow. what do i need to put in the Transmission and what to put in the T-Case? also i need a new u-joint for the rear driveshaft. what kind do i need 1310?

Pretty sure it is a 1310, any parts store would be able to look it up

T-case takes ATF, I can't remember what the transmission takes offhand.
Considering you have the BA/10 I would recommend a high end fluid like redline or royal purple. Made a huge difference in mine until it grenaded.
