tires and rims
I currently have 235 75 r15s on my jeep and i am looking to purchase some new rims. can i safely mount those tires on an 8 inch rim? they are currently on the stock 7 inch rims. what are the widest tires you can put on a 7 inch rim?

10.50 is the maximum recommended size for a 7 inch wheel. i've known guys who've put 11.50 and 12.50 on theirs, so it's possible, but they've always said how terrified (for lack of a better word) about curbing them for fear of the seal popping.
