Thunk sound when hitting bumps?

Hi all! I dont know much about anything outside the engine and transmission. So I thought Id get your opinions. When I hit a bigger bump, say coming out of my driveway to the street or rolling over a speedbump, I hear a thunking or klunking sound until I get past the bump(s) and on flat ground. What could be causing this issue?

That's pretty general. Where does it sound like the thunk is coming from? Could be bad motor mounts, could be the rear track bar, could be a variety of things, hard to say without a bit more specifics.

I can feel the thunk under my feet when its happening though. Its kind of hard to explain. Lol It seems to happen if my front or rear wheels are uneven... For example one wheel on a rock and the other on the trail.

Check trans mount and torque arm bushing. Tcase will hit the skid if these are worn.

Do you still have your track bar?

Check your ball joints. Mine was doing the same thing, ended up being bad ball joints.

When I busted my shock mount it did the same thing, felt it through the floor. Crawl under and give everything a shake see if anything it loose.
