throttle body carb swap with manual choke

has anyone swapped a throttle body carb for a straight carb maybe with a manual choke? ( off 89 yj, has numbers wb884 and8366 , i'm told it is a bbd feedback carb) thanks, colesrock

change from fuel injection to a carb or from a carb to fuel injection? tons of people have done that.

your question is not clear.

you do have an electronic carb on your jeep. mine did at one too. when i bought it someone had already swapped it for a normal carb.

I don't feel like working on anything at this time so i sold my yj.

Yours is a carb. Throttle body is a fuel injection system.

418 miles on 19 gallons of gas. Can't beat the BBD !

Your options are swapping out to a non-feedback carb, Motorcraft is a popular one, or going with a fuel injection kit, and Howell is the popular one.

Search using those terms and you'll get days worth of reading. And check the YJ tech folder too.
