Thoughts/Opinions needed!!

Getting ready to repaint my yj within the next few weeks, and i have a few questions. Its black now, and its being re-painted black. I have full diamond plate armor on the rear, sides, and front fenders. I was debating on puttin it back on or not. Let me know what you think.

Yeah, leave it off. If it's hiding damage, fix the damage before painting.

Thanks. I was planning to leave it off, but i wanted to see what others thought. Its not hiding damage, so it wont be a problem. Thanks again
