thinking of getting an 1995 4.0L

what does it have that my '89 doesn't? external slave?

Better manual trans (than 89 original) of course.....& supposedly a slightly weaker c-clip D35

Lots of little things like the driver seat no longer flips forward, battery tray is different, front axle disconnect is different, has larger front axle ujoints, electric speedo sensor instead of mechanical

Also if its a hardtop than you get one with a wiper and defog

Yeah, the '95s have all sort of little niceties and upgrades that individually aren't a big deal, but when you add them all up it's awesome.

I don't think TJ-style hood bumpers and often hinges have been mentioned.

Galvenized frame, though? Huge.
