Thinking about removing transfer case drop...Any reason I shouldn't at least try it?

I've got what I believe are 6*, maybe 8" shims in the rear, and 2.5* shims in the front...Driveline seriously doesn't pull out at all when I'm flexing. I also have zero vibrations. I was thinking about temporarily removing the drop to see if it would have any negative effect. Any reason I shouldn't try it?

That's what I was thinking, I'd just throw it back on if I get bad vibes. Thanks guys!

i took mine out, between a 1" motor mount lift and some 8 deg shims, it worked out well.
