think I got screwed

I bought some bds 3.5 leaf springs. Well finally got them installed and jeep back on wheels. I gained 2 inches only. I based everything off the springs being what he said. They were next to new. Only thing I bought used out of 6 grand I invested this winter. Wondering should pull off and order new bds springs right size. My rocker was at 22.5 with 31st and 2 inch body lift. Now with lift and 3/4 shackles I'm at 24.5

Can you find a part number on the springs? That will tell you if the seller screwed you, or if it is just a fact of life on your Jeep. Estimating net lift is an inexact science but kit makers usually try to err on the low side.

If your stock springs were sagging then the lifted springs will not yield 3.5" of lift.

Bass ackwards. He would have gained more lift than expected if the OEM springs were sagging more than expected.

Then why doesn't make sense? 18 rocker height stock with 205/75/15 (27 inch tires). Before the lift had 31s and 2 inch body lift. That raise 4 inches to 22. But when I measured was 22.5. This springs look like new why I bought them. Supposedly put on 2 rigs but never finished

Got info on the old springs? Part numbers? Leaf count? They may not have been OEM.

If those springs were 20 some years old, doubtful you would have had that much height.

So the only changes are the springs?

22" with old spring. New springs you get 24.5".
