Is there any high performance 2.5 parts?

I've been looking around to see if anybody makes a better than stock or high performance cylinder head or camshaft for my 2.5L. I figure if someone makes a good cam and cylinder head it would add a good 40- 50 horsepower and torque. All these rice burner 4 bangers got high performance engine interals, why shouldn't Jeep. Jeep Turbo's cost Too much, and air kits and headers don't make noticeable power. So i'm looking to see if anyone knows any place that makes high performance engine interanals.

It might be cheaper to just swap to a 4.0.

i think petco has some high octane squirrel food....
it has been time and time again, not only by us but by various press people, if you need/want more than the 2.5 has to offer, get something bigger. it is just not economical to try to get power out of a motor with so little after market support and so on.
motor swap in your future?
i had one, hated it.

Yes indeed. The mighty squirrel. Many have tried and failed, and the quest continues. Will the 2.5 ever achieve the glory...(no). Love your 2.5 just the way it is. Humble.

There's a company in Colorado that makes superchargers for the 2.5 and check out www.ststurbo.com they make a remote mounted turbo which stays cooler...

Hesco makes a better than stock cam and mopar use to sell 2 different cams for the 2.5, don't know if they still do. The head will need to be P&P'ed. There's some that claim they get the power of a 4.0 with a good built 2.5. As mentioned, there's a lot of info on 4banger jp .com.

Go to 4bangerjp.com and search performance 2.5 a guy on there made his 2.5 get well over the 4.0's 200 hp so all you people saying swap it or just get a 4.0 need to do some research before opening your mouths, Oh and he did it for under $2000 way less than a swap would cost
