Teraflex Revolver shackle

What's your opinion on the Teraflex Revolver shackles? Do they work well? Are they worth the money?

http://www.bc4x4.com/pv/yj/revolvers/

Thanks for the help.

I ran them in the rear for about three months until someone offered to buy them off my rig for almost full price. I paid $100 for them and was hard up for cash so of course I sold 'em. In the last week, I've been looking at doing them front and rear with my new build set up. I highly recommend them to anyone who doesn't have lockers because the articulation gives just enough wheel droop to get some traction. And don't forget to keep them greased along with greasing your spring bushings too.

thats good to hear. sometimes i have problems with a rear tire lifting and giving me no traction so i thought this would help but at the same time im worried about them unloading and sending me over.

has anyone tried making a limiting strap for them? ive never seen them in person but looking at the pictures, would you be able to run a thick cable on each side of the revolver top to bottom to stop it from completely unloading?

I really want a set for the rear shackles. I'm disappointed with the droop of my current booms but I think a set of these will help out a lot.

I've only heard others say that but in most cases they didn't run a pair themselves. Everyone on here that has put their 2 cents in and has actually used them said they recommended them. Since I don't have a crazy amount of lift or a spring over or anything like that I don't think I will have any real issue even if they do unload. We'll see. I've been trying to find some used ones on CL and eBay but haven't had any luck yet.

the only thing thats stopping me from putting that much money up for them is the fear of going down a steep trail and having them bump the rear and send me over. but in any other situation though i know i could 100% benefit from them and wouldnt mind spending that much at all

i dont know, i think ill just have to work up the cahones to try it out and see how it goes
