temperature gauge

My yj cosistently runs at around 100 on the temp gauge. Is this normal? Its a 4 banger and I thought it was a little high.

I have a 6 cylinder but your temperature should be around 190 - 200 degrees. If your only at 100 degrees then your thermostat needs to be replaced. Its easy and about $5.00 to replace.

$5 american works out to about $25 canadian .. PartsSource, CanadianTire, AutoValue and Napa all carry them.

Its a fairly easy job to do .. if you have the tools and time. If you are in the Calgary area, let me know and I might be able to squeeze some time to give you a hand if you need it.
