Thanks. It's my first spray actually. Used a gun in the 40 piece cheapo gun kit from Lowes.

I think we spent WAY too much time alone in Kabul.

Thanks! I talked your ear off about it for a year of planning, so glad you got to see it.

Yes. Being a type-A and picky, I can tell you that it is the only way! Thanks for looking. Add a NV3550 while you are in there!

My sentiments exactly. I've seen a couple CJ grille conversions on YJs and it bugs the hell out of me... Just buy a TJ or CJ if you wanted rounds...

What a great build. You knew exactly what you wanted out of your jeep and stuck it out. I have a similar build for mine planned. Although I am on a much tighter budget, (no Atlas for me.. ) I still want everything done top-notch as I can get it. Frame-off and POR-15, rebuild/upgrade 258, NV3550, gear-up to 4.56, 4" and 33"s etc. Saving my money and buying parts as I can, I'll finish one day haha.

Again, great build and it looks like she is ready for another 20 years of wheeling and beyond

Ah....yes. I forgot to take pics with the MTZs on. I will get that done today. I pulled off the passenger D30 hub and pulled the leaky axle seal and replaced. Let me tell you....using anti sieze during the build made it all come apart so easy. I never have had a hub come off so smooth.

Today...you will have pics of the doors, and wheels.

OK...

Ever mount magnetic tail lights to your jeep when towing? I fabricated the solution for my use.

Cut a trailer hitch, welded an angle iron to it, painted with POR-15, and then added mount locations for the mag lights.

Then for the doors, there was spot welding for cracks, and the bolt pull outs that you saw a few pages back for the door limiter straps.

Here is the finished product. New upolstry tops and Ebay plastic panels. Did this to match interior.

Note in the previous post....

behind the grill you see cardboard. It is hanging in front of radiator. There is a 4"x4" hole cut in the center. It keeps the jeep to proper operating temp in the cooler season.
