Tailgate Lock Question
Yesterday I could lock my tailgate with the key. It was great. I could unlock it too.
Today the key just rotates and doesn't 'catch' anything when you twist it. No locky. At least it's stuck in the unlock position so I can still use it. If I take apart the latch mechanism from the inside of the door will it be obvious what's wrong? Anyone with any lock experience in here? thanks

Sounds just like a simple clip that attaches some kind of linkage rod to the lock mechanism, take it apart at take a good look at everything you will probably find the clip in there just get a new one, so it doesnt come off again I just went to the hardware store and bought a couple clips, to reattach mine.
Reminds me winter is coming and neither one of my side doors work worth a Shhh***t |
