Also take a look at JB Conversions. They are in the $200 range and have a super short SYE, but it is a little more than the standard. If you are looking at anything close to $200, go with Advance Adapters or JB Conversions. I am putting in a JB Conversions SYE when I do my 8.8 install.

SYE: $200-ish
Driveshaft: $300-ish
Labor: Any shop worth it's stones will charge 4-5 hours for everything $400-ish

I would expect to pay $850-$950 for the job.

I have rugged ridge SYE...seems fine.

I would not pay that money! Do it yourself it's not terribly difficult and you will build your skills in doing it.

Do it yourself. It is simple. Also throw in a 6 pinion planetary and a wide chain kit while you have it apart. You can find the pinion and wide chain kits for $100 on EBay.

Great idea, save on the shop cost & spend that money on upgrades. I never thought of installing a wide chain kit when I did mine

What exactly IS a 6 pinion planetary? Just a special planetary gear?
