Jeeps don't belong with dual exhaust in my eyes. It's right up with Chrome and 22's.

Duals are a waste and there is no room on the drivers side to run a pipe between the spring and the gas tank, safely, and be able to keep it even on both sides. Simply put, its a waste of money.

If it has tracks, tires or tits, its gonna cause a problem.

Garage
Even if you run a V8, there isn't much room for dual exhaust. With a 4 cyl. it really would be unneccessary. If you're concerned with flow, upgrade the diameter by 1/2" to 1", this should evacuate the exhaust gasses more efficiently.

that would be sooo cooool.

Seriously though. So far as asthetics go I think it would look cool. It'd be unique. I'd have to agree that it'd be a pain and not really feasible though, the garage would charge you an arm and a leg to fabricate something like that.

My buddy has side-pipes on his CJ-5..

But he has the 304, and about 6in of lift on 37's

I used to have a glasspack, with the factory piping, but put a black 3"x22" tip on there. Sounded amazing, but there was about a quarter inch on each side of the tip, or it would hit the gas tank or leafs.

Yea, duals only on a V8 and if they are side pipes dumping out in front of the rear tires. Anything else just kinda sounds like something a kid with a Honda would do.

why not slip a crooked inspector $15 to pass you so you can bypass the upgrade or the welding.
