Swap or Build a 258?

Swap or Build a 258? i have a all stock yj with a bds 3.5 lift. on 33". I also want to change the gears, but do i want to spend so much $ on a dana?

i like the 258, i would rebuild (cheaper), i would keep the front axle but not the rear, not worth rebuilding or regearing. swap out the d35. try to find an axle with the same gears you want to go to. like a yota rear that has 4.10's and then get the 4.10's for the front. that will save you money. good luck

I am just finishing up my rebuild. Got the short block back together just need the 4.0 head to come in the mail. Guess you know my vote.
