Suspention question yj

Would it be better or if possible to do a coil over conversion in the front axle and leave the springs in the back

Depends on what you're asking of the jeep. Personally I wouldn't link anything less than a Dana 60 front axle. It just isn't worth it.

But an XJ coils in the front leafs in the rear !

All joking aside Go Soa in the front and coilovers in the rear.

Ok sounds good

Anticanman 09-10-2013 04:45 PM

How do you plan to use the jeep?

jasonjones21 09-10-2013 04:55 PM

Mostly on road and then going off road extreme trails

Anticanman 09-10-2013 05:20 PM

Daily driver and hardcore offroad wheeler. Ok. What size tires? 35's?

jasonjones21 09-10-2013 05:28 PM

Ya 35s

Anticanman 09-10-2013 06:22 PM

Lot of work to run 35's. axle swaps possibly front but definitely rear with low gears and perfectly set up SOA suspension. Or you can definitely link it. Its a lot of work but totally worth it. I DD my jeep on 35's and beat it like Rihanna on the weekends. My Dana 30 is maxed out on upgrades so my tires aren't gonna get any bigger than the skinny 36's I run on occasional trails.

Laughed at that one. Thanks :)

Cheers
