is it a super 35?

How can I tell from a visual external inspection if an axle is super 35 or not on a wrangler 93. I suspect the transfer case (now missing) had a sye. Vehicle has a lift. Running 32's.

On a CJ AMC20, you can see a one piece axle compared to a two piece.... but is there a way for the 35?

IF i open diff what would i be seeing? Would diff cover be different at all?

thanks guys..n gals...

Well, you can certainly tell if it is locked, anyhow.

Jack up the rear and spin a tire, if the tires turn the same way- locked, if the turn the opposite direction- unlocked.

Super is a spline count on the 35(from 27 to 30 splines). Beyond counting....

Super 35 has a mounting flange and pressed on bearings. You will have to at least take of the tire and brake drum to get a look.

Normal D35 axle will not pull out unless the C clip is removed or it's broken.
