Stupid How do you replace the front headlamps??

Hello everyone,
I noticed lastnight that my rf headlamp was out. So I called for the parts, Im picking 2 new ones up on the way home. I have not even looked at it yet, but was wondering how to replace them. I assume you remove the 4 screws in the headlamp trim, remove the connector and it pops out??

Take the time to fill out your profile. We should not have to ask you about your Yj.

Remove the four screws in the bezel and take those off. Remove the wiring plug on the back. Then on the front there are a few more screws to loosen that hold a metal plate that holds the headlight in place. Once this is removed swap the old for the new and install is reversed. There are also adjustment screws on the top and outside of each light. If your headlight aim is good I wouldn't touch those but if not use these to set the aim on your lights.

look out, there are screws on the metal rim (inside) to remove the rim and headlamp, but there are also 2 screws for alignment. Don't mess with those or you'll need to re-align your lights.

He only asked about headlights....I'm thinking all YJ's have the same square lights, so does it really matter what suspension, engine, etc he has...geez..

Typd, no it doesn't matter for the headlamps, but in the long run it will. It is difficult to know where to point someone in the right direction without it. Maybe not in this specific problem, but for most of them it does. Pasinbuy might have been a little more "discrete" (LOL) in asking for it but I understand it.

You shouldn't tell stories like that. You know full well that adding pin stripes is the only way to get better MPG.
