Stock Jeep Height

Anyone out there knows what is the stock height of a YJ? Mine had 31 inch tires and I just finished the SOA (partially finish, still need brake lines, and other little things, my total height know is 40 inches but I was dumb enough not to measure the height before I did it so I do not really know how much lift I gained, although, believe me it was a pretty good height gain...

It's in the FAQ. We would need to know what part of the Jeep you were measuring. I do remember the rockers being 18".

Yep 18" at the rockers. 40" that's a 22" lift one heck of a SOA.

No I did not measure at the rockers, I measured at the edge of the front fender, from the flare to the ground, running a vertical line all the way thru the center of the tire, all the way to the ground.

Finally figure it out, I am almost done with the SOA, and the end result is 8 inch lift. All I did was replace the old axles with a D44 and AMC20 from a Waggy and build custom mounts for the perches. It looks so awesome I might be able to fit 35 underneath that thing, of course with a little flare trimming. Now to move into the new brake lines, steering and custom driveshafts. So far in the budget, $547.00 and that is including the purchase of a new welder. I will keep ya'll posted.
