stock gear ratio

hey, I have an 89 YJ automatic and was under the impression I had the 3.54 gearing from reading this from several different sites including this one. so without checking I purchased an Eaton tru-trac for the rear. while getting ready for the swap i decided to spin test and as far as i can tell i have 3.07 ratio even quadratec lists autos as having 3.55 ratio. it does state "normally" on this site with no other ratios listed but according to Jeeps VIN checker 3.07 is standard gearing. I cant believe im the first to have this problem. luckily enough i found a set of rears with 4.10 gearing pretty cheap but i am only running 31 10.5 15 and thought 3.55-3.73 would be better for my highway driving.

You are not the first. I am not sure why everyone lists the autos as having 3.55s. My YJ auto came stock with 3.07s as well. From my experience it seems like most autos were the same (my sister's 01 TJ auto also has 3.07s.)
