Sticky Throttle Cable

I have an 89 Wrangler that I have converted to the 4.0l with fuel injection.
I runs really good but I keep having issues with the throttle cables.
I am on my third throttle cable and it seems after they have been on the rig for a few months they start to get sticky. I have had two different throttle bodies on it and they are both the same.
I suspect that I am getting imported throttle cables and they are not of a good quality.
I am about to spring for a factory mopar one and was wondering if anyone else has had any issues with aftermarket cables.
Thanks for your help.

The only issue I've had is when connecting to a new throttle body this week, there was a gap between the plastic over the end that connects to the linkage and the large plastic sheath over the whole cable and the edges would catch and hang up for a second. Used some wire stripper to carefully cut the pastic back an inch and no more problems

i always had sticking issues on carbs. the cable had to much angle on it from being a little long so i trimmed it back and no more issues.

go pull a cable off a junkyard cherokee or wrangler and try that one. it will be a mopar one.

I thought my cable was sticky until I realized my blower motor had slipped down just barely enough to touch the top of my pedal. If I pushed it back up it would be fine until I hit another big pot hole. You sure it's the cable and not something else?
