I need some advise please from your expert jeepers, I just put on a 2 1/2" Rubicon lift and 1" confeer shackles on my 87 wrangler I also put a new steering stableizer and I have 30x9.50s right now, will go to 32s,The jeep always drove great! now when I hit a crack in the road even the front wheels dart, an it road walks real bad now, any advise or sugestions will be greatly appriciated, Thanks Guys.!
Sounds like you need a drop pitman arm. What your describing is called bump steer. The angle of your drag link is too sharp. The pitman arm will reduce that. Should cost around $50.00.
rayray, thanks a million, I'll order one and get it put on to see if that fixes the prob, you can get real discouraged when you spend some cash and then its just not perfect....
thanks again.
When I got my 4" lift kit, I also purchased a drop pitman arm .. fixed the problems before they started
Also, I got a T-case drop kit .. easily made from some long bolts and a chunk of pipe cut into equal sections .. about 1.5" long sections are all that's needed.
