Square uppers v. rounded full doors

So I bought a hartop and full doors for my YJ. I have a newer softop but found it won't work with the full doors because it is made for the square uppers.

What are my options? I have heard the besttop super top will work with full doors. are there other options such as a half top?

If you have the full doors your battle should only be with the soft top right?

Probably just get either a new soft top and if you have the hard top for winter you could get one of the best top replace a tops, which are cheaper, or you could get the bikini safari top gizmo.

When you order the soft top just ensure you specify that you have full doors.

Did you pick up the hard top and doors new? or get them used somewhere?

I have been wanting to do that for winter time, even though Its not that bad in GA, My kids always complain of freezing to death in the back...

I bought a project jeep for cheap and took them off it before I resold it. I thought I was going to be real happy with the hardtop but I'm thinking of selling it. I haven't had it on my jeep yet but that is part of the problem. Knowing I'm not going to run it in the summer it is going to be a pain.

Where do you store it etc. Now I know why people sell them. they are heavy and not easily stored. The doors will come in handy. My family gets all upset at the wind when it gets later in the evening and colder. with the full doors we can roll the windows up even with the bikini on.

I want some solid doors just so I can have a roll up window. I'm tired of zippers ripping off and having to mess with them going down the road.

I hear yah, I wouldnt mind getting those upper doors with the sliding windows, but I think they want about $400 bucks for them. Which is $***!!!$(&$(&@@@@ ridiculous...

I bought a fairly decent best top super top about 2 years ago and the window zippers are just about already broken

I know what you mean .. especially if you want to put it back on before winter for any reason.
I came up with this hoist idea .. basically pulls it up to the ceiling in the garage .. and even allows me to make use of the flat space inside the top to store the carpets and rear seats, etc. I use wide straps to lift it off the Jeep, then drive the Jeep forward to allow the top to be lowered onto the wood frame. The lift ropes are then attached to the wood frame and the whole lot is then pulled up snug to the ceiling. It makes it a one person job to refit and remove the top using the electric winch remote control, as this allows you to position the top as you go.
Since I took these pics, I've refined it a little more, replacing the hand winch with a cheap ATV electric one (run from a small 12v battery)

I did essentially the same thing. My hardtop and hard doors go on/off now fater than I can do the soft top.
