Is this only happening at idle, or while driving down the road? Are you saying you dont use your blinkers during the day?
Hook up a voltmeter to the battery when you turn on an accessory, see what the output is. Should be between 10 and 14.

I think you have a short to ground somewhere in the headlight circuit.

You are loading the alternator and it can't keep up. The stock alt. is 60 amps. If you are running KC's and other after markets you are asking too much of it. Look up the CS-144 alternator mod in the FAQ or search for it on line. It's a good mod to do and will take care of your issue.

A bad ground somewhere gets my vote also. It happens all the time.

I went and bought a new alternator and now it holds a charge but it's still running rough I put new spark plugs in it as well then I looked at the air filter and it was covered in mud so new air filter and clean all the spark plug wires and cap and rotor look good idk why it's running so rough still any other ideas the headlights and kcs work I went with a 90 amp alternator so it has more pull

Ok first use a volt meter on the battrey set the volt meter on dc 20 volt scall . Turn the jeep on put the jeep in nutral then cheek the battrey. Then put the lites on check to see how much the volts drop. Next chang the scall to AC 20 volt scall . tell us what the numbers are. I got a cuppel of ideas what may make this hapen but do this first.
