Speedo Question (not your average speedo queston though)
Okay im just going to cliff note it.
-Tranny Blew up -Got a ax-5 with np207 out of a cherokee for cheap. -Swapped it in, speedo gear was different, i belive the np207 was a mechanical speedo while the np231 was a electronic speedo. -Old speedo gear fell out of TC while driving on the freeway... Ive been driving without a speedometer for too long and want it back I dont know what to do. the speedo gears out of the np231 are different sizes than the np207's. I guess what i am trying to ask is, what do i need to get to get my speedometer working again? I went to the dealer to get a new speedo, but there were about 20 different options to get.

What parts do you still have? Did you just lose the gear, or did you lose the whole sending unit?

When i got this tc, the previous owner cut the wires from the sending unit on the TC, that is the part that fell out.
