Speedo Cable

i have an autometer speedo (PN 4492) that wont work since i bought it so i finally started messing with it to find out it was unplugged so i tried plugging it in but the autometer has threads where you plug it in and the cable has a white connector with no threads and i cant get it on far enough to get the square drive to engage? anyone know if there is a special cable or will i have to cut off the white connector part to try to rig something up?

Use a few periods in your paragraph. I had to read it three times to try and figure out what you are trying to say. Now with that said, you will need to get a new speedo cable to work with the Autometer speedo. I think Autometer, Lokar and a few other companies sell them.
