Spark plugs??

Read some of the treads here about this.

My question is;

Of these three brands of copper core, which is the best? Since the consensus is plugs with Copper cores.

Accel
Bosch
Champion

I have a 92 Renegade 4L

Typically Champion truck plugs, but have also used Autolite with no issue.

I have Bosch plugs and o2 sensor in now and no issues in almost a year.

Sent from my iPhone using JeepForum... So excuse the typos, my iPhone is challenged.

A spark plug costs about $1.50. I guess I am so wealthy that I don't need to price shop for 6 of those. Didn't know I was wealthy, so I'm kind of stoked to learn this.

They used Ford parts because the 4.2 is based off of the 300ci Ford motor.

Run what plugs you want, but don't be coming back when it runs bad.

Was it really?

Was there some other inspiration for the 4.0L then, or was it just refined from the 4.2?

Yeah. That's why I had Ford emissions parts and an ecm in my Jeep. It's also why the team rush upgrade works. Ford 300ci cap, rotor and plugs.
