Can anybody give me a link to a write up or explain to me what tools I will need to change the plugs on my 1988 Jeep YJ 258. It has A/C, and the AC compressor bracket is right in the way of the #1 Cylinder.
It looks like it is going to be a real pain to get to, so I wanted to make sure I had the right tools before I started.
3/8" drive 5/8 deep socket or 5/8 spark plug socket(has a rubber grommet inside to hold the plug in, but you can fab it up yourself with some cork), 6" extension and probably 9/16 wrench or socket for the a/c. It's pretty easy just get a cheap basic kit and you'll be fine. By the way,(you might know it already) DON'T unplug any a/c line!
Not sure I would do that but hey whatever works for you.
