Southern California off road trails

I just got my jeep and need to do some offroading, badly. I live in southern California near anaheim, but i have relaitves in Apple Valley (near victorville) and i am always up there. I have heard there are some nice trails around there, but I can never seem to find any of them.

I have a 1990 Jeep YJ that is pretty much stock, but it does have oversized tires. I am working on getting new equipment but until then i need to do some trails to get me motivated. Any ideas would be helpful. I am mainly looking for places near Apple valley/Victorville area or near Anaheim, although any area near will work too. Thanks .
