Some ump in that 4.2

Now i no the 4.2 is considedered to be a awful engine, but since i got it i like it. So i was wondering what are some great ways to get some more power that i will be able to feel, cause i really hate being spanked by a Tercel( awful feeling considering a got a 6 and i dont think he even had a 4 hehehe) Thanks

Well really the 4.2 is a better engine than most its the other things that make it bad like the carb.Wiring and head design.But a better carb and ignition system you really get somthing going with the 4.2.I am very happy with mine.

Yea thanks for the info, am gonna try the nutter bypass soon, also would a catback exhaust help at all?


(Hey 9Jeep0 its cool that u r from FredVegas too, maybe we could go wheeling some time, the bus station off of 95 is an awesome place)

Sounds great!!! I didn't know you could take a jeep up in there.I always see people riding dirtbikes and ATV's.I'm going to have to check that out this weekend.

Oh yea man i have almost been taken out by jeeps when i am riding my dirtbike in there. Some great mud pits way back there, i have seen some yotas and other trucks stuck in this one hole up to the door several times>

Can you go at night? I might go there Friday night and check it out.I talked to some people at work and they said that sometimes the cops show up and run eveybody out.

I have ridden my dirtbike there for years and have never seen a cop. Supposily that land was set aside by penn state, for a recreational area. Give me some time in advance to get off (Nights at Claibornes), and yea it would be fun.
