Sold my Jeep...bought another

Sold my 95 4.0l standard trans with 235,xxxkms for a profit...

Picked up a 95 YJ, 4.0l, auto trans, 230,xxxkm's, hardtop and softop, 1" bodylift sitting on brand new 31's. Zero rust! Everything works except the dash lights!

Drove the XJ for 2 years and it never cost me a dime except for the mods I did to her...and I mad all that back plus $ on the sale.
Was really needing to get back into a Wrangler.

And so it starts all over!

Wait. You sold the xj and bought the cleanest yj I've ever seen and still made money? Did you sell it to the blind kid who bought that bird in Dumb and Dumber? I mean, it seems like a nice xj and all but to find a yj that clean you have to drive around in a delorean for a week and even then, it's quite rare.

Congrats!

230,xxx kms converts to 143,xxx miles...for a 4.0l that's just getting broke in!! We do use salt on the roads out here, and get a ton of rain..., but I think this Jeep missed all the snow and at least some of the rain days!
Drove around all day today with the family, 90 degree temps... It was great!
My wife asked me how much my mod list cost so far for this one...I just smiled and said" Not very much!"

Hope you plan to at least have it under coated. And some kind of liner in the tub, even if you put the carpet and all back in. Keep it rust-free inside and out. The salt here in Buffalo is amazing, I dunno what they use up there. But around here they cure roadkill with it, it doesn't start rotting till June.

It's made it for 17 years here in BC so I think it will be ok! I am 44 and have lived here my whole life...had many cars and none have rotted out! It's not too bad up here.... We only get a cpl days of snow...a week at the most, then it rains for 9 months straight!
They don't call it the Wet Coast for nothing!

Even the cleanest YJ I've ever seen can't avoid the seat rip :/

and guys, he's only saying he made money off the cherokee, not that the YJ was less then what he sold the XJ for.
I think

LoL on the seat rip!

I did pay more for the YJ.... Not much more tho. I only made money on the sale of the Cherokee..I am happy with the deal I got. Enough money left for a mild lift, new stereo and 6 speaker soundbar, and a tuffy ctr console.....h4 headlights....that's it...for now...till tomorrow!
