soft top dillemma

I need to figure out a soft top setup...

I currently have the 2 piece soft doors that fits cjs and yjs. I also have an original soft top with the square uppers.

I want to order a supertop (since they have the rounded uppers so i can use my soft doors) But my soft doors dont work with my hardtop.. does this mean they wont work with a supertop either??

Also, is the supertop easier to fold up and down than te original tops with the squared uppers??

They should fit the soft top without a problem. Soft uppers will not fit a hard top.

The super top is easier to fold down, you can also leave it attached to the bars like a tj does when it folds down.

The Supertop has the exact same door opening as the hardtop. You can use Full steel doors and Superdoors with a Supertop. My Full steel doors will only work with my hardtop. As far as I know there are no full softdoors that will work with a hardtop.

thanks...

does the fact that my soft doors are from a cj make a difference?

I am debating buying the supertop with the doors or not for the extra 129 dollars?

It seems like a lot to fork out 550 for a soft top

All i have now is a hard top and bikini and its not too efficient

I bought the softop softdoor deal. It was cheeper then buying them separate. I have the hardtop and full doors also. I'm pretty well set. I usally just run the lowers and throw the uppers in the back if it looks like rain. It all seals very well and I don't get any leaks. The top is very easy to go up and down with and it all fits nice behind the rear seat. The softtop I got when I bought the Jeep was a Supertop from 89. It still was OK but some of the stiching was pulling out and the windsheild plastic edge was shunken a little and it didn't seal well. I think if I take care of this top it'll last just as long. Oh I still have the old top as a backup. It's grey though and I like the black with tinted windows better!

Thanks for the info... 629 for the supertop and full soft doors seems like a lot of money..

Is there somewhere that has the best prices or what? Does everyone drop this much money on soft tops? I would much rather get a locker or a winch..

Mine seal very nicely as well until you get on the freeway, the front of the uppers tend to pull away at the front a little. Not a big deal though.
