Socket sizes?

Can you guys tell me the socket sizes of the fill/drain transfer case plugs as well as the torx size fill the on the side of the transmission case?
The transmission fill is on the driver side of the case, right?

I stole some time this afternoon to change my gear & trans fluids only to get back from buyin' the juices to realize my brother has the larger ratchet set in Philly - so the time I set aside to degrease & power spray tomorrow will need to be used for the freakin lubricant change I had planned for today!

I'm just gonna buy the specific sockets/torx & have a second set

This is how it goes with three kids when you work the damm 2nd shift... all Dad's Jeep time has to be planned if its gonna happen durin the week - I'm just too damm tired after work - I like wrenchin in the daylight.

thanks in advance guys

Yep - 30mm for Tcase. The drain and fill on my 5sp 2.5 '95 - a 15/16 works for me. My fill is on the passenger side.

It is not torx on the fill of the ax5 if thats what trans you have. do not remove it!! Its a hex sae sized bolt on the passenger side about midway from top to bottom and more towards the back. The size that 15/16" works on, but fits a little loose, is 24mm.

Don't take out the Torx plug on the driver's side. It is not the fill plug and if you look closely you will see that the Torx plug has "Don't Remove" or something like that printed on it. I have no idea as to what it is for. As the others said, the fill plug is on the other side, 15/16, with a dot in the center.

Don't ask how I know about this plug but I was lucky as it has been a few years with no fallout.
