So...how do i uhh....hmm.....

Well, my jeep tranny went out and it cannot move what-so-ever under its own power, but it can roll. Unfortunitly, its 100 miles away from where I need to work on it. I have a tow dolly and my girlfriends V10 dodge coming sat morning to pick me and my jeep up to take back home. So...here is the question

How the hell am I getting it on the dolly? I dont have a winch, so I cannot winch it up on it...i dont have a vehicle i can push it up on it with...I have maybe 5 guys (2, maybe 3 will be hung over, so its more like 3.5 to 4 guys), think that will be enough to push the jeep onto the dolly?

Any other ways you can think of getting it onto the dolly I'm all ears

Cheap come-along from hardware store?
Or use your high lift as a come along?

When I sold my 90 I helped the guy who bought it pull it with his truck up onto the dolly. Wasn't the greatest Idea but it worked. Chock the wheels on the dolly.

Chock the wheels on the Jeep and back the dolly under it.
Use a come along.
Chock the wheels on the dolly and pull the Jeep onto it.
Jack the wheels up on the Jeep and back the dolly under it.
Buy a cheap hand crank winch.
If any of the five guys there have a vehicle with them, turn the truck connected to the dolly as far as it will go without jack knifing and use one their vehicles to pull it onto the dolly.
Have you tryed putting it in 4LO to see if it will pull that way? When the tranny went out in my truck high range wouldnt pull at all but low range worked enough to get it on the trailer. That is if it's an automatic. Or if its a manual and the clutch is slipping causing it to not pull, this would still work. You really didnt specify.

Hahaha, yea, true. Unfortunitly school is stealing all my money

I can easily chalk the rear wheels of the jeep and back the dolly up under it, so I think ill try that.

the only issue with chalking the wheels of the dolly is I only have a curb to do that with, and it will be hard to reattach the truck to the dolly.

THanks for all the help guys, wouldn't have thought of that
