so found more issues as to why my jeep has been running so bad and wont pass smog

the intake manifold bolts were loose. along with the carb mount bolts. im going to go ahead and replace the intake/ exhaust gasket and then also do all of the vacuum lines. hopefully then it will run great and pass smog.

oh yeah forgot to ask my question. how much of an effect would a vacuum leak like that have on being able to get it timed right?

vacuum leak won't affect timing but it will make it harder to idle right when trying to set it.
