Nope. Just trimmed the body so I have more flex room. The flare mounts over top of the rocker guards when using the corner guards. Without the corner guard you will have to trim the rocker guard.

So I found the rock sliders with step for 215 shipped. And the tube fenders with 3" flare for 420 shipped. Does this seen an average price?

Yes, that's the cheapest I've found. Ebay.
However, look at the e-auto grilles front tubes on ebay, 280 shipped.

Careful. Make sure you're looking at the one with a flare. He one without is 225ish.

I got my rear flares in today and I have a question. Did y'all use the very bottom hole locations? Looks like they're in line with the tube, making it impossible to put hardware in there (unless you're going to tap/thread from inside the fenderwell). This may only be for manufacturing, though. I didn't even look yet to see if it lines up with any body holes.

I also did a test fit and, sure enough, I'm going to have a bit of a gap between by sliders and these flares. Has anyone used any kind of black colored adhesive to "fill the gap" visually? Maybe even something like shelfing paper?

Thanks!

Just for clarification: The TJ flares dont line up on the stock TJ holes in the body? or it just covers that bottom hole and only allows hardware in the other holes around the flare?

I believe the flares are supposed to mount to the corner guards, not to the body itself. For a YJ using YJ smitty flares, (I have their sliders with step and rear flares, no corner armor) the flares bolt up just like stock, but I had to cut about 1-1.5" off the end of my slider to fit. The corner armor allows the flares to sit up higher and clear that, I assume to make a clean look/fit.

Hey fellas, I decided to post up my experiences (and a few questions) with regard to the XRC flares. Since my rig is a TJ, I started a thread in the appropriate forum. But here's a link in case any of you would like to check it out to see if you encountered similar issues with your install.

So I put my XRC tube fenders on today. The instruction sheet sucks. Can't read half of it.
Do I reuse my rubber hood stopper that is on the stock fenders?
Here is a before and after pic

Looks good!! I printed them from online in color. They were a lot better that way. I drilled a hole on the lip of the hood and glued them there.

Thanks. I like what you did with the stop. I will do that tomorrow.
I did the drivers side first. Took like 3 hours. But the passenger side took an hour.
Now I am waiting on my rock slider to get here. They said it is on back order...

Yea I received my fenders 3 days after I ordered them. Then I called to see if the rest was being shipped separate. They said they are on back order. Would have been nice to know when I ordered them.

But I like how these turned out. Fenders lined up nicely. Now my 33s look small with all that extra room.
