Small Clutch noise

For the past two - three weeks, I have had a new noise appear when I start out in first gear and let the clutch out. It usually occurs when the jeep has sat for a few hours or over night. The noise sounds similar to a creaking door. I took it to a local shop and they said it was the clutch burning off the rust?
Is this correct or is my cllutch about to fail. There is no slipping of the gears, and everyting else runs and sounds normal.

Any advice or suggestions would be appreiciated.

Well, this is very cheezy but it was a creaking door noise for ME but it turned out to be the rubber pedal pad was ripped and it would go up and down on the actual pedal making squeeking noises. I don't know if thats whats wrong but humor me and give it a try.

I looked at the pedal and it is not a rip. The sound is alot louder than a piece of rubber rubbing. And the noise comes from the middle of the truck, around where the clutch is located.

Oh, ok, could it be a bad throw out bearing, possibly- either that or it could be the whole rust burning off, but if it was a bad clutch wouldn't their be clutch slippage.

Cool. If it is a throw out bearing, will this cuase the clutch to fail soon, and is this a easily fixable problem?

Thanks for the advice.
