Hey i have been looking into getting some skid plates for my jeep. What parts would you must reccomend to putting a skid plate under. I was thinkingthe trans., front end (steering etc.) and possibly my gas tank. Any opinions and does it require alot of modifying or is it just a bolt on job. i have a 1990 YJ with a 4" suspension lift, 32's, and a dana super 35 in the rear
Got my eye on you.....
I would most definatly put skids under the belly ( trans) and the gas tank. Most are bolt on. Usually the factory crossmember iswhere the trans skid bolts. same with gas tank. factory locations for it.
