Size of 2.5 and 4.0 Throttle Body

Can someone give me the measurement for the size of the two throttle bodies that mates to the manifold? I picked up a rebuild engine that came with a TB and I wanted to double check if it was a 2.5 or 4.0. Thanks.

Not sure on the 2.5 but 4.0 is either 60 mm or 62 mm.

Any way you could take a measurement? I thought the 4.0 was less than that bc the 62mm was an upgrade for it

you can get the 4.0 bored.

get it from someone reputible, if they go to 62mm bore and it's not done right it will whistle. you can push it to 63mm i think, but it's not advised. some only go to 60mm, still plenty big... hell stock 4.0 at 55mm is plenty big unless you start playing with fuel pressures with an adjustible regulator and/or playing with MAP voltages.

I have heard alot of people have better luck with 60mm rather than 62mm
