significant drop in mileage

Well I have notcied a significant drop in the mileage on my stock YJ 95' 6cy after I put Helix 62m TB and AEM dryflow Brute airintake system in it. Though there is a slight boost in torque but the mileage is decreased by 25% to the earlier figure.

What I did wrong to get this result instead of getting better fuel consumption as told by the vendors for their above products?

any one?

You may not have done anything wrong. To every action there is a reaction as they say. If you gained torque that's good, but that will usually mean taking from something else. In this case it sounds like economy. I'm sure the vendors tell you different but I've found very few modifications that for every gain somewhere there is a loss (or compromise)
