Side gear help

I have a 95 with 4.11 gears and dana 35 with clips. I have my side gears in, when I try to rotate my carrier to install the spider gears, the spider gears hit the carrier and won't roll in. I ordered the spider gear kit Part No. 707321X from 3 different places (got different kits same part #)and even spoke to a rep to make sure this is the correct kit. I need to get back on road any help would be great

Got any pics?

I've never had much issue with installing them before.
